I am sorry that I am so quiet lately.

I am not content with how the blog is working today. I was looking for another way of posting, like the 123 Hjemmeside. But I do not like the idea of paying to make a blog ore homepage.

So I do not know how I am going to do this...

On the positive side there are a lot of good news in Colombia. It is good to see that the wait is not increasing anymore.

Some refferals this week

If you follow this blog you have seen that I have not continued posting all refferals and regions that I see on the different chat rooms and web pages. I will not promise that I am going to start again, maybe a posting one time each week?

So this is the postings so far in December:

Regions

Cundinamarca to someone on the tierra colombianas forum. Waiting for a girl 11 years, entered lista de espera May 2009. Congratulations :o)

Region META in 0-1 age group to a couple approved in Colombia 29 March 2006.

Region Medellin in age group 1-2 years. They were approved March 31, 2006.

Region Cordorba in age group 2 years. Approved 27 July 2005. What a long wait. I hope they are the last from July 2005. This is were the lista de espera is in that age group. And this group has waited the longest. Hoping for a refferal soon!!!!

Refferals

A boy 5,5 years from Region Meta to someone from France. No dates.

Boy 2 1/2 years to Italy, no more information.

Girl 18 months from Medellin. They had been on the waiting list from March 16, 2006 in the age group 0-1. Their papers went to Medellin in October 2009. They were from France

Siblings 9 and 5 years old to a french couple. They were on lista de espera for the group 0-8 from 15 December 2008.

Information

Age 1-2 France; A couple from May 2007, section 1-2 years, just received a letter from ICBF who informs them that they are 247 families before them waiting for Region.

0-35 months (MY GROUP!) A French family of this section, aproved since April 2008, remaining ahead 1047 records (ICBF info on 19 November 2009).

Someone on the spanish forum has made this list after postings on the tierra colombianas. This is how many there are left before region. First you can read were the lista de espera is. For eksample. children 0-1 is in April 2006 and if you are from June 2007 there are 123 waiting in front of you. The reality is better, because it always takes some time to get the information from ICBF. I know this list is confusing as all I have done is to translate it.

ICBF Update

Numbers, Numbers and more Numbers

Now there is a new statistic on how many applicants there are left on the wait list. The numbers are from October 30. Their last update was in July. I do not know why there is a new update now. But I like it(as I love all information). Still hoping there will be another update at the end of the year as it was last year.

Left on the waiting list (international waiting families)

2005 - 92
2006 - 504
2007 - 869

Comparing with older list(July 2009)

2005 - 92 left - 52 less from last list - 17,6 less each month - If this continues it will take 5-6 months until finished

2006 - 504 left - 162 less from last list - 54 less each month - If this continues it will take 9-10 months until finished

2007 - 869 left - 79 less from last list - 26,3 less each month - If this continues it will take 33 months until finished

2008 - 1110 left - 86 less from last list - 28,07 less each month - If this continues it will take 39 months until finished

2009 - 969 on the list - 397 more than last list - 132,3 more each month - If this continues it will be 1234 couples on the wait list from 2009.

First of all, I know this is no way to do math. I just find it interesting. Last year there was only 3 applicants left from 2004 in May, but there still was one left in December. The last cases take much more time to get trough.
WHY? First of all because they are usually all in the same group. Right now I can see a change in were there are less cases. Before it was more 2005 cases that were decreasing. Now it has changed to 2006!

Maybe you think why there is more movement in the 2008 cases than the 2007. I think this is because the wait is getting long in Colombia. If you are from 2007 you have already waited from two to almost tree years and the adoption does not seem so far away. With papers from 2008 you might get a shorter wait if you change country. There is not a huge difference. There are couples from 2007 getting refferals. Mostly the refferals from 2007 I see are siblings 0-4.

If the number is about right there will be about 100 less applicants from 2009 than there was from 2008. I would have thought that it was going to be less. It would be interesting to know how many applicants there was from 2005, 2006 and 2007 when they started. I know there was 1237 applicants from 2007 in May 2008(and it probably started a bit higher). So 2009 is smaller than both 2007 and 2008.

What I find really interesting

I did the same math as I did with July - October and looked how many less there was each month. The numbers are.

2005 - 25,7 less each month from December to July - Now the numbers are 17.6
2006 - 22,3 less each month from December to July - Now the numbers are 54
2007 - 19 less each month from December to July - Now the numbers are 26,3
2008 - 16,3 less each month from December to July - Now the numbers are 28.07
TOTAL - 83,3 less each month from December to July - Now the number is 125,97

So it is moving more now!!

Why? Well some of the reason is that it is closed in January(it is from December 30 so it is not because of December) But mostly it is because of the increase in 2006 refferals, and that is good news!! I hope it continues!! Let the list move more and more!!!

Also interesting

October 30, 2009, there were 3,749 waiting families on the ICBF list waiting to adopt. The number is down by 19 families from July. BUT there are more international couples waiting.

I hope you all find this news interesting, and I hope you understand it all. I hope you follow me and do not only get confused. I really found it interesting to see how many less there are on the lists each month.

DO ANYONE HAVE OTHER LISTS? I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MORE!!
Then I could see how big the 2005/2006/2007 groups were when they started. And I could guess more about the wait.

Last of all I have to say that I am always guessing, and I am just telling you all what is in my head.

Just when I thought there would not be another lista de espera. I am happy to say that I was wrong!!! It is good to get news so that we know what is happening.

But and there is a big BUT, there is no good news on this list. Okay, the list is moving. But one month in 3 months. You can hardly say this is anything to get happy about. To be honest I am a bit sad to bring you this list. Some time there has to be good news, we can not continue to double the wait time over and over again. To wait 3 months and only see 1 months improvement on the list....

You enter lista de espera the date you get approved by the Colombian gouverment. For us that is December 2008. It is really a long wait in Colombia.

The way you read the list.

First comes the new date (that means there are older cases waiting to be sent to a region),
Next comes how many months the list has moved since last list 27.08.2009
Then how many months it has moved in 13 months. I compare with the list from 24.10.2008(last year there was no list in November)

0-1 March 2006 -1 month - 6 months
1-2 March 2006 - 1 month - 6 months
2 July 2005 - 1 month - 4 months
2-3 April 2006 - 0 - 1 month
3 December 2005 - 2 months - 13 months

Comments

Improvements: There was no improvements as no groups have moved more than the 3 months from last list.

Okay: Group 3-4 and 7 years has moved 3 months so at least there are not a longer wait now. Sibling group 0-8 years has moved the same.

Horrible : The rest of the groups to be honest. I really thought that we were moving more than this. Worst is the group 2 years that is still in July 2005 and only has moved 4 months in 13 months. Also the 5-6 witch has only moved 2 months in 13 months. Seems the wait there is going to be as bad as for many of the other groups.

In the groups with the oldest children(also siblings) there is more possibility that you get a refferal before the wait time because not so many are waiting and they want to match the children to the right parents. In the youngest groups they have many that have waited a long time and probably you will have to wait closer to the lista de espera.

The Picture is from Cali. This is a region many gets. Maybe this is the city were our child is/going to be born.

I was wondering if any of you have any blogs ore know of blogs that I can add to my lists.

It does not matter if you are waiting for a region, waiting to send your documents, in region, have a refferal ore if you are home with children. The blog does not have to be in English ore Scandinavian languages. I would like to have a page full of blogs so that everyone can find someone in the same situation.

Update Denmark ICBF - November 2009

Another month has passed and things have happened in Denmark this month as well. It is nice to see as there are not so many cases in Denmark. I love that they are so open so that we can see everything that has happened since last.

The danish list is from AC Børnehjælp. They have almost all applicants to Colombia from Denmark. The other one Danadopt have only 6 applicants. The list does not tell which age group they are waiting for. They also do not tell why people are removed from the waiting list, if it is a refferal ore if they for some other reason have quit their case.

I have tips for another blog to follow. The home stretch that has been added to the blogs. This is an American family who is in Region. For me this is the most interesting to follow. So exciting when they get refferal and to be able to follow them to Colombia!

Some info: They are approved for siblings(over 4 years old), waiting for a sibling group of two. They got approved in April 2008 and got Region 04.09.2009.

Vacation in Colombia

This year the court`s last day is December 17. December 17 is not a full day. They start again January 13, 2010. Because of that many can not travel to Colombia now to get the child they have been assigned. But this is different from country to country. In Norway we can not travel. I think that is hard. If I get a child before Christmas I would want to celebrate Christmas in Colombia.

I am so sorry that I am not writing as much as I usually do. I understand that it probably is very frustrating.

Here is a blog from a danish couple. They are adopting Philip a beautiful boy from Cartagena. From before they have a girl from Cali. The blog is in danish, but if you can not read danish I would try google translate. That is what I use ;o) They were so lucky that they got to met Philips fostermom. I do not now how many get that chance. Have any of you gotten to meet them? I hope we get the chance.

In the chat rooms people are talking about 400 new employees at ICBF. Earlier this year the americans told that ICBF were going to employ more workers to make the process quicker. I hope this is true.

For the ones of you that do not follow the danish news there are one more on the danish list that have gotten children. Twin boys of 5 years old. I do not have the information on how long they have waited, but I will know more when they publish there new lists. I hope the new list will have even more good news.

As you have understood if you followed my blog I have not been so much on the internet lately. I find it hard not to find any news and maybe only find families who have gotten refferals that are from 2005... It was nice to have a break from all of it.

Eurodisney was great, I would recommend it to all families with children. It was a lot of fun for Rebecca and her cousin and we are going to go back when we are a family of four. Still it was better in Florida, but for us that is much more expencive.

I will not write all news that have happened since last time. It will be old news.

I am so happy that we now can follow this blog(norwegian) as they have gotten their refferal. Their blog has always been on my page and they started the prosess in Norway in 2004.

Here is also a blog from USA. Damita Hope. They are adopting a 7 year old beautiful girl from Medellin.

I have not written in ages, so many of you probably know a lot more than me. Soon September is finished and I hope there will be many more news now when it is still possible to travel to Colombia. I know many of you from other countries are able to, but we have to wait until ICBF opens again. It is not easy to celebrate Christmas when your child is not with you.

Denmark

A family waiting from April 2008 (age group 0-2) has been told there are 1105 families in front of them.

A family on the waiting list from Denmark thinks there is movement in their case. Maybe another refferal to the danish? Hopefully they have good news to tell us soon.

Italy

Refferal of siblings 6 and almost 3. They were in the list 0-1 from November 2006, changed to siblings 0-6 (accepted April 2009) Meddelin July 2009

Boy 7 year old, lista de espera january 2009

Sweden

FFIA announces there has been two refferals from ICBF Colombia. One today and one 24 September. Last year FFIA had four refferals, so far this year they have had four. Maybe there will be an increase this year? I do not know how long the families have waited.

Spain

Two days ago ADECOP announced that there was a refferal of a child under 2 years old from Colombia.
There was another update from ADECOP 14.09. One a child 5 years and one 8 year old child
A family who are waiting for a child 3 years old from January 2007 has been told there are now 49 families waiting in front of them. In August there was 48. A bit depressing when it is going the wrong way.
A family from December 2007 in the age group 0-2 has been told there is 773 families in front of them.

France

There has been a french delegation in Colombia. Here you can read about it. It is in french, use google translate. I found one thing especially interesting and that was that there was less small children for international adoptions, but still many older cildren and children with special needs.

Region Bucaramanga(Santander) in the age group 2 years to family who has waited since July 2005.

Region Ibaque to a family who entered lista de espera 14.02.2006 in age group 1 year.

Girl 7 years to a family from France.

Girl 22 months to a family on the waiting list since February the 3, 2006. Age group 1 years. Region Neiva August 20.

Denmark AC ICBF - September 2009

This is another nice update from Denmark :o) Things are really happening there, I hope it continues and that we will see a lot of it in Norway as well.

My comments

I like that the total now is going down. It is only 12 less, but if it continues that will make the wait go down again. But as it is only 12 it does not mean so much. But at least it is not getting worse and maybe it is even better at the years end rapport. I think it will be a lot better, much has happened lately and not so many are sending their papers to Colombia.

I like to compare the results from 9.05.2008 with the results 01.07.2008. Keep in mind that it is two months apart and then I think 2004 in 2008 is like 2005 in 2009. Then the results are like this. The first number is from 2008, the second 2009. That there is 56 more applicants in the last group is mainly because the lists are two months apart. But that also makes the two first groups worse.

Above it is not looking so great, but I belive that if I make the list in the end of the year comparing 31.12.2008 with a list that I hope come 31.12.2009 it will look much better.

I think 2007 is looking like an okay year and when the lista de espera comes to that year it will get better and the wait will go a bit down. But how long time it takes before the list is in 2007 I do not know.

ICBF has updatet their homepage. For all information Press Here. Thank you so much Lena!!!

They have updatet 1 July 2009. So far there has been 1227 adoptions of them 703 international adoptions. (But remember some can be siblings). 174 of the adoptions was not from ICBF, and may be international ore domestic.

What I found interesting was that of the families gone from group 2005 and 2006 I knew about 1/3 of the families. So every time I hear about a familie getting a refferal I will think that there probably is 2 more.

Denmark

Region Bolivar(Cartagena) to a couple who got approved by ICBF 14.05.2007. That was the first time a danish couple got sent to that region. I was surprised that there is a new lista de espera. Maybe the last one? Ore maybe we are going to get it still. I am confused, but happy we got it.

You enter lista de espera the date you get approved by the Colombian gouverment. For us that is December 2008. It is really a long wait in Colombia.

The way you read the list.

First comes the new date (that means there are older cases waiting to be sent to a region),
Next comes how many months the list has moved since last list 18.06.2009
Then how many months it has moved in a little over a year. I compare with the list from 06.08.2008
This time I also compare with a list I have found from 10.07.2007. I hope you will find that interesting.

Comments

First of all there is a new group on lista de espera, siblings 0-8. It is good to know that many wants to adopt siblings in that age group, but of cource I did not like that the wait for that group was 10 months. I would have thought it was far less.

Improvements: The only real improvements was in the age group 3 years were it has moved 4 months in a little over 2 months and siblings 0-7 and group 5 year old were it has moved 3 months, but as the time is above 3 months I am not really impressed.

Okay: The group 0-1 and 1-2 has moved 2 months. I am happy to see 2005 is finished.

Group 0-1 and 1-2; It seems that ICBF thinks of these as the same as the month is in the last years the same. It is nice to see the list moving and I still hope that it will move more so that the wait will decrease. It is not nice to see that it has only moved 6 months in a years time and that it has only moved 9/10 months in two years time. I hope it will not continue this way.

Group 2 years; I had hoped that it would have moved as it only moved one month since February. And now it is the age group with the longest wait. I hope to see much movements next time.

Group 2-3; I did not think that list was going to move so that was nice even though it only moved a month it was really nice to see! Last time it moved was in August 2008, so it was about time. But still. The wait in that group was much better than the other groups with simular ages, but now it is much the same. This group has moved much in two years time, but little lately.

Group 3 years; It is nice to see that this group is now moving all the time. I hope it continue to bee like this. Then we are going to be finished with 2005 in this group soon!!

Group 3/4 years; No movement this time. And in the two years time it has only moved one year. I hope it will change.

Group 4 years; No movement this time. And this group has moved even less. It seems there are not so many adoptions in this age group.

Group 5 years; This group is going steady and there is not so much more wait now than it was two years ago. 4 months is not so much when we compare with other groups.

Group 4/5 years; The wait is much less than the group 4 years, but still a long wait. This group is also going steady and the wait is much the same as 2 years ago.

Group 5/6 years; No movements this time. But the wait is not so bad and one year less as the age right underneath. This group has moved a lot in the two years and is less now than two years ago. But the last year it has not moved so much so I hope this will change again.

Group 6 years; No movements this time. But the wait is less than a year and is over one year less than the group right underneath. For this group it is also less wait than two years ago, and the only one that is less now than a year ago.

Group 7 years: Moved 5 months this time!!!! And the wait is the same as two years ago.

Siblings 0-4 and 0-5; There is no movement and has not been in a while, but still a lot is happening because many changes to this groups. The wait is less now than two years ago, but nothing has happened on the list in one year. For the ones on this list this is probably frustrating, but for many this means they do not have to wait for a very long time. And for the ones who because of age do not have the time to adopt two times it is nice that they get siblings.

Siblings 0-6; No movements this time, but the list has moved 3 months in the last year so at least it is moving. But the wait for this group has increased in the two years time. Still the wait is less than the 0-4 and 0-5 group and not so many change to this group so it will probably move more than the younger sibling groups.

Siblings 0-7; This group does not move so much, but moves more than the other sibling groups lately. The wait is now longer than two years ago, but still a shorter wait than most groups.

In the groups with the oldest children(also siblings) there is more possibility that you get a refferal before the wait time because not so many are waiting and they want to match the children to the right parents. In the youngest groups they have many that have waited a long time and probably you will have to wait closer to the lista de espera.

Denmark

A couple on the list have gotten a son :o) Congratulations!! I do not now who, but there are 4 families in region and probably one of those. The couples in regions are from 24.11.2005(Pereira) 25.09.2006(Manizales)29.09.2006(Manizales) and 23.01.2007(Ibaque). But I think the last one is siblings.

As for lista de espera, I still have hope. Maybe they get so many calls they change their mind. They stopped with the lista de espera because so many asked for it. I have still not eaten all my sweets. For new readers; I have made a box of sweets where I can eat one for each month finished on lista de espera in my age group. As we have 0-2, I got to eat for 0-1,1-2 and 2 :o).

I hope you all have had a good weekend. In Norway it is so much rain, but we have had a good time still. I hope for a week with lots of news.

Thank you france for information as we do not get so much in our country. But the 1403 cases before the couple on the 0-2 waiting list is simply horrible. The 78 cases is not so bad, but still some tell they only finish 10 a month and that means 8 more months waiting for the couples from September 2006.

I really need some good news, like the refferal from Etheopia to Norway, they waited only two months and got twins of 3.5 months. I want something that gives hope to the Colombian waiting families as well.

It is told on the french forum and I hope it is not true. I do not understand why?

It is nice to know were ICBF is and it is easier to think how long the wait is going to be.

Italy

Region Antioquia to Mary and Dany! They were first on the list for o-1 years and entered lista de espera 8.11.2006, in March this year they recuested the change to silings 0-6. Got approved 22 April and got the region July 30.

Good news for people waiting for siblings! :o)

A couple who entered lista de espera(approved in Colombia) November 2007 in the group 0-4 years has been told there are 52 couples in front of them. The list is now in March 2007 so this is good news.

There have been a lot of people changing from other list to siblings. That there now is only 52 couples left of all of them and the ones between March and November is more than I hoped for.

I know about a few of the 52 and on some of my list there is no information about what age group they are waiting for so maybe there will be good news on my lists soon :o) On the italian one I posted a little while ago there is 2 out of 50.

From the news I am getting lately there are also many on the sibling lists getting regions and getting refferals. The only bit of news I could find today was a sibling region.

I hope August will continue with good news!!

Sweden - update

For the ones that followed the blog when it was in Norwegian you already know some of this, but i will tell it again as it has been a while.

Sweden has two organisation working with adopting from Colombia. FFIA and Adopsjonscentrum.

FFIA had four refferals from Colombia last year, this year so far they have had two.

Adopsjonscentrum had 25 children from Colombia last year, but they do not tell which ones who are from the Private Orphanages and witch are from ICBF. So far this year they have not had a single one from ICBF, but 22 from the Private Oprhanages.
The family who have waited the longest from ICBF have waited from January 2006

The information I found from Adopsjonscentrum is from July. Things may have happend, I hope the family from January have gotten a refferal.

This is a nice update from Denmark :o) I really needed the good news as I am in a bit of waiting blues right now.

The danish list is from AC Børnehjælp. They have almost all applicants to Colombia from Denmark. The other one Danadopt have only 6 applicants. The list does not tell which age group they are waiting for. They also do not tell why people are removed from the waiting list, if it is a refferal ore if they for some other reason have quit their case.

On the danish chat I have learned that most of the regions are to couples waiting to adopt siblings 0-4.

The picture is from our summer! At the cabin from Svein Edvins parents where we hope to get our own summerhouse.

I have found another blog from a family who now are in Colombia. Press here and you can read about the swedes who are adopting from Los Pingos and have gotten a beautiful baby boy.

I find it a bit harder to find news in the summer time. Probably many are on vacations and do not write as much. But it is nice to know that things still happen in Colombia even though it seems quiet.

Rebecca have now started in Kindergarten and she loves it! She does not want to go home and talkes about all the fun things she does there.

(lista de espera is now in December 2005 in that age group)In April they was told it was 103 so it is deffenitly happening something, if it stays like this we will se March 2006 on lista de espera in 3 months time(I hope less...) In June someone in the same group from February was told there was only 15 left in front of them.

Region Huila to a couple who entered lista de espera January 18 2006. Congratulations, I hope they get a refferal soon. And I like that they are from 2006, I hope that means there are not so many/ore no one from 2005 left in that age group!

Two new refferals I do not quite know were it is from. It says Maloca. And I am also not quite sure about the translation. This is how I understod it.

I got some answers on my questions I posted on this blog, I still would like more. But here I will post the responses I got. Thank you very much Mie, Yvonne and the two from US. I will also post the answers I know about from Norway. It was very interesting to hear from the Netherlands as I did not know they had stopped new applications to Colombia.

I have heard rumors that the wait is getting longer before you can travel to Colombia to finally get your child. Do you know about anyone who have traveled in 2009 ore are waiting to travel and how long they had to wait before they got to travel to Colombia? It seems the wait is longer, before I always heard people got the travel date immediately. The wait was about two weeks, now it is longer. But I am not quite sure how long( do not have enough information)-Yes, increased in the US from about 11 days to 2 months.
Is there less people wanting to adopt from Colombia in your country now that the wait is so long? Yes, it seems like it is changing now, but still there are more people adding to the list than couples getting refferals. You can not adopt from Colombia anymore. Yes
Are there people wanting to change to siblings, older children, special needs because the wait is so long? Yes, but not very many. Yes
Are people transferring to other countries were the wait is shorter? No

A reader on the blog posted some new news. Thank you very much :o)

They are on the wait list from August 2007 on the age group 0-1. They have been told there are 250 families in front of them. That does not sound so horrible, better news than the group 2 years.

Spain

Wait 2 years. Someone from November 2006 has been told there are 242 files in front of them. Information from June 24(I hope it is less now)

There are not really much news now. I am a bit down because of the long wait... I keep hoping for change but it seems it never comes. I want to be a mom again soon and with the wait now it is another 3 years down the road. That means the total time will be FIVE years for the wait. It has to change.

With so much time left to wait I am worried everything can happen. The wait can get shorter, but also longer.

Here are the news I could find today.

Norway

In June there has arrived 2 children from Colombia to Norway. Total in 2009 it is 14 so far, so far last year it was 21. So there is only more and more people on the wait list.

France

Girl 8 months assigned to a couple who entered lista de espera(approved in Colombia) November 23, 2005 probably in the group 0-1. Region Pereira May 8, 2009. Refferal June 24, 2009. Congratulations.

A couple on the waiting list in the age group 1-2 from August 2006 has been told there are 58 couples before them to be sent to region. This fits good with the numbers from yesterday when a couple from November 2006 heard it is 74 couples in front of them. 58 couples means there are under 10 couples from each month waiting. Maybe we can hope that lista de espera will move more rapidly? Lista de espera is in December 2005 in that age group.

Canada

I am sorry to say that it seems the Canadians are no longer posting their waiting lists on their internet page. If anyone know were they are, maybe some other place on their page please tell me. I do not understand french so I do not find things easily on their page.

Manuela

At Colombian Mommy`s page you can read about a little 3 day old baby girl found in the garbage in a vacant lot. She got to a hospital and is called Manuela. Luckily she was not dead when she was found and I hope it will have a happy ending and she will find a new mom and dad. In Colombian Mommy`s page you can find more links to pages you can read more about the case. So far this year 61 infants have been found in public areas.

USA

Childrens Hope International are saying it is busy times in the Colombian Adoption Program. 4 families traveled to Colombia last weekend with a total of three families on the same flight.
Families from Childrens Hope International in Colombia, 18 mont old girl from Cucuta, 4 siblings from Bogota age 10,7,6 and 2.5, 2 siblings from Cali 5.5 old girl and 2.5 old boy, a 4.5 year old boy from Bogota and a 14 month old boy from Paso.

Traveling soon. 10 year old girl from Bogota, 5 month old boy from Cundinamarca, 12 month old boy from Manizales, 7 year old girl from Medellin.
They have 6 in regions awaiting assignments.
Total this year(June 15 2009) 15 families/27 children

I do not know when anyone of these entered lista de espera(approved in Colombia) and because this is the US maybe some of them are Colombian families and the wait is then a lot shorter.

Spain

Adecoup announses 4 new refferals. A 4 year old, a 10 year old, siblings 0-4 and siblings 0-6. Congratulations. Here I also not know anything about the wait.

Someone from November 2005 in the age group 2 years has been told there is 75 couples in front of them waiting to be sent to region. In April someone from November 2005 in the same age group was told there was 68 couples(7 less). It does not sound promising, but there can be some answers. 1. It can be different dates in November, one can be the 1 of November and the other the 30. 2. Maybe there are new Colombians wanting to adopt in that group, they always come first. 3. It seems ICBF now more often send documents to new regions when the couple already have waited a long time.

Someone in the goup 3-4 years have been told there are 158 families in front of them, they are from February 2008. From the last information they had this means that in the last 5 months ICBF have assigned to only 20 families. Still 158 does not sound as bad as 75 couples in front for the 2 year group to NOVEMBER 2005!!

Refferal of Maria Isabel from Bogota

In the age group 1-2 someone has been told there is 74 families in front of them. They are from November 2006. In May they were told there was 80 families in front, so only 6 less. With only 6 less each month it will be a little over a year before they go into region.

Sorry I have not written in a long time, but we went to our family summerhouse to celebrate Saint Hans with some of my fathers family. I guess we were more than 100, this summer we are celebrating with a family festival and we are going to be several hundreds. I am so blessed to have so much family. Last week we also celebrated St Hans in Laksevåg were we live and it was also the last week Rebecca was in "Parken" and the last meeting with our church group before summer.

Today it is going to be the last meeting with the group of leaders at Race(youth program with 10-12 year old`s). This combined with the heat we are having it finally feels like summer. But I am so glad that it`s not summer in Colombia and that we can have hope that much will happen.

Because it is summer I will not always be at home so much, but I will try to post all news I find.

Thank you for the answers I got on my questions, but I still wish for more I will write my findings later this week.

These last days I have found it difficult finding news and so I thought about maybe you readers have some information. So I have some questions for you and I hope to get some answers. Please write what country you are from and if you are adopting from ICBF ore Private.

It really seems much is happening in France and that many of them are in the french forum. I am happy they are spreading some good news for everyone to hear.

Child 8 months from Pasto (Nariño) to a couple who entered lista de espera(approved in Colombia) 27 December 2005 in the age group 0-1. Allocation May 29 2009, I do not know what region they were in before. Got the call June 20 2009.
Child 6 months from Caldas to a couple who entered lista de espera(approved in Colombia) May 2006 in the age group 0-1, changed to siblings 0-4 November 25 2008-approved vy ICBF February 11 2009. Region Putumayo March 12. May 27 they went to region Caldas. They got the call June 16 2009.
Girl 10 years from Manizales, I do not know the dates and are not sure she was reffered to someone from France. If I learn more I will tell you all.

Girl born in 2006 to a couple who entered lista de espera(approved in Colombia) December 2004 in the age group 2 years. They first went to region Bogota February 2008, second Region Medellin in October 2008 and they got the call June 17 2009. So not everyone only stay a month in Region...
John Sebastian 2 1/2 years to a couple who entered lista de espera(approved in Colombia) November 1 2005, I do not know the age group ore what region. Refferal June 18 2009.

When I see couples who has been in region for such a long time I try to be a bit posetive. At least it means there is more place for a new family in a Region. And it hopefully means ICBF soon has emptied the regions for old documents and there soon will be room for more. The Picture is from Meddelin were the family finally got lucky. I am glad they do not have to wait longer, it really has been a long wait.

Finally there is a new lista de espera. You enter lista de espera the date you get approved by the Colombian gouverment. For us that is December 2008. It is really a long wait in Colombia.

The way you read the list.

First comes the new date (that means there are older cases waiting to be sent to a region),
Next comes how many months the list has moved since last list 8.04.2009
Then how many months it has moved in a little over a year. I compare with the list from 09.06.2008

0-1 December 2005 -1 month - 5 months
1-2 December 2005 - 1 month - 5 months
2 June 2005 - 1 month - 4 months
2-3 March 2006 - 0 - 14 months
3 June 2005 - 1 month - 7 months
3-4 July 2005 - 2 months - 7 months
4 August 2005 - 1 month - 6 months
5 February 2006 - 1 month - 5 months
4-5 March 2006 - 2 months -10 months
5-6 May 2007 - 0 - 5 months
6 November 2008 - 0 - 13 months
7 November 2008 - 0 - 7 months

As you can see the only improvement is in the group siblings 0-7. Since last list it is two months and 10 days so I am not so happy as I thought I would be. I thought that there would not be any more 2005 cases left in the group 0-1 and 1-2. But December can not be so huge so I hope to see more improvements to next list. But it means that the wait is still getting longer and not shorter as we all are hoping for.

But still there is movements in most lists and usually it does not happen so much. That is a good thing :o)

The danish have updated their lists today. Tomorrow I will write the updates from the Privates.

The danish list is from AC Børnehjælp. They have almost all applicants to Colombia from Denmark. The other one Danadopt have only 6 applicants. The list does not tell which age group they are waiting for. They also do not tell why people are removed from the waiting list, if it is a refferal ore if they for some other reason have quit their case.

A new blog. Check it out! Thanks for the tip Colombian Mommy. They got their refferal from Chiquites May 20 2009, they got approved in Chiquites 13.11.2008. Started the adopting process in USA June 2008. That was fast.
What I do not understand is why are they allowed to start the process before their child is even 1 year old? We have to wait until they are two to get approved in Norway.

A couple who was in the region Nariño was sent back to the ICBF central office. They were in the group siblings 0-4, they entered lista de espera June 2006 for the age group 0-1 and changed to siblings April 8 2009, in April 22 they entered region Nariño. I hope they will soon be sent to another region.
Region Huila June 8 to a couple who entered lista de espera in December 2005 in the age group 1-2 years. It is their second child from Colombia. I hope they soon will be a family of 4.

Italy

A couple have sent their papers to Colombia for 2 children from 0-8 years. Not really news, but they were told to expect a wait for 3 years!! ??? I do not belive the wait is so long for that age group.

There is one less case from 2008 in the age group 0-2 because of a pregnancy.

This weekend my husband turned 29. We celebrated both Saturday with some friends and also yesterday with the family. It was nice celebrations.

While adopting, birthdays makes me think about the wait much more than usual. Hoping there will not be so many more before we have our second child.

Here you can read about a family who adopted siblings. A boy 6 and a girl 8, they had two biological children from before(girl 12 and boy 11). The article was in The Harrison Press, a local paper in USA.

Denmark: There has been made a new page Alt om Adoption. It is in danish, but for my scandinavian readers I recommend the new page.

Here is a new blog. This is a family from USA who have just arrived in Colombia and have still not met their child. They are adopting a girl from the Santander region. They got region February 2009, before that their dossier was in Bogota (May 2008!) They entered lista de espera July 2005 and got their refferal March 15 of a girl 16 months(they asked for a boy 0-1).

I am sad to say there are no news, but I have not written about the american familybefore, so in a way that is news :o)

Luisa Fernanda from Manizales reffered to a couple who entered lista de espera 25 April 2005 in the age group 3-4 years. They went to region Caldas 6 April 2009 and they resived the call the 3 of June 2009. ---They started the adopting prosess in March 2002 in France. They first resived a rejection from ICBF in April 2004, and spent some time getting approved. They finally got approved in April 2005.

Refferal of a girl 8 years old reffered to a couple who entered lista de espera November 2008.

Comment It seems you have to wait for a longer time if you first do not get your approval from ICBF. I have seen a few cases that makes me think this is true. So if you have had a hard time to get approved from ICBF maybe you have to think that the wait may be longer.

Update from the US -- COLOMBIAN-AMERICAN FAMILIES!

We have a family that received a referral for 3 siblings -- ages 13, 11, and 9. The adoptive family hosted the girls last summer with KIDSAVE. Their referral was immediate -- 2 days.

A couple on the ICBF list have changed to siblings. They sent the updated papers to Colombia in the beginning of February and last week ICBF approved them for siblings. They entered lista de espera May 2008. Another couple (from 2006) are waiting for ICBF to approve them for siblings.

Today the new update from Canada - Solei des Nations came. :o)

There was no regions and no refferals, but four families have quit their case.
This was:

I do not know why. I can only speculate, but at least we know that there are fewer before us in line.

Still there is no refferal for the couple who ented lista de espera 30.09.2005 in the age group 12-23 months. I wonder if they do not tell what region before it comes a refferal.

It has been a long weekend without many news, but they are starting to come. At least it was really nice weather so I did not think very much about it.

Norway: 3 children arrived home in May. So far this year it is only 10 children who has arrived home until the end of May, last year it was 17, in 2007 44, in 2006 23. So it is really not a good number, and it is not because we have any less applicants.

Another couple from 2006 in the age group o-1 have gotten a domestic adoption. They now have a little boy under a month old from Italy. Congratulations!!

And now there is one less couple waiting from 2006.

Norge:
3 barn kom hjem i mai. Hittil i år er det bare 10 barn som har kommet hjem til slutten av mai i fjor var det 17, i 2007 44, i 2006 23. Så det er egentlig ikke et godt tall, og det er ikke fordi vi har noen færre søkere.

Jeg ble litt deprimert går kveld når jeg studerte hvor lang tid det brukte å ta. Noen år vil vi allerede hatt region. Og nå er det fremdeles år unna.

Even though they did not recive a refferal from Colombia, it means there is one couple less who is waiting from 2006.

There really has not been many news. The only thing I found yesterday and today is.

Italy:
Referral to a Italian couple. Boy 8 years and girl 5 years old from Neiva. The couple entered lista de espera 2007 in the age group 0-5 siblings. But I guess they have changed their age group ore accepted special need children. I do not know. But I am happy for both children and parents.

I have also seen some regions on the italian forum, but I did not manage to translate it right. So if anybody knows more, pleace tell me!!

I hope I will find more news soon.

There is some new information on the couple who was sent to the region Cordoba. They entered lista de espera 13 December 2005 in the age group 1-2 years.

So hopefully that means that there are no older cases than the middle of December left in the list between 0-1,1, 1-2 . So there can not be so many more cases left. And with December comes colombian vacation times, I hope that there are less couples approved in January and February.

ADECOP (Spain) announced today 6 refferals. I am really pleased :o) As always I would love to know how long they have waited. But still!! :o)

The 6 new assignments are from the following 5 age groups:
- Sibling 0-4 years
- One 1 years
- Two 1-2 years
- One of 5 years.
And they are particularly pleased to announce the assignment of two brothers through the "Road to Hope".

I hardly find any news from the age group 3 years I wonder why. Hope I will soon get some good news in this group.

There is also someone on the Spanish forum who got their papers sent to Cordoba, sadly I do not know the age group ore when they entered lista de espera.

Children`s Hope International had a good week last week with four refferals. Two siblings, a boy, 2 1/2, and a girl, 5 1/2; and 2 baby boys, both around 1-year-old. In addition, families have accepted their referrals this week for a sibling group of 4: ages 11 and under, and a young girl, age 7. It does not say how long any of them have been on lista de espera. But for the two last cases they are from the end of 2008 ore 2009.

Norway
We do not get much information from our adoption agency. But the one thing I can tell is that we are now(so much later than other countries) sending less documents to Colombia, but still more then we get refferals. So far in May we have not gotten a single region and only tre refferals. So little with over 300 couples with their documents in Colombia. So sometime soon we have to see a lot of refferals and regions.

Just to let you know, one of our Colombian families got a referral last week. They were sent to regional after being on the Internal Colombian wait list for 2 months, then it took 2 more months for a referral. They were assigned a 7 month old baby girl in Cali Region. They were also told that there were quite a few Colombian families waiting for referrals in that particular region and that is why it took so long to get a referral -- 4 months is the longest it has ever taken one of our Colombian families. My own referral took 2 weeks (in 2006).

Thank you so much for the information, it is nice to know as much as possible and very interesting for the people waiting in the Cali region. :o)

This weekend was wonderful. Friday we visited my grandmother and we went to a birthday party to Hedda. I do not know the word in English, but she is my husbands cousins daughter. I feel blessed to have so much family and that our children will have a big family, many more than I had when I was a child. The only thing is that it tend to make the birthday parties kind of huge, and a bit difficult for the parents. Friday it was not our turn so we only had to enjoy ourselves.

Saturday evening we got to celebrate that Norway won the Eurovision Song Contest 2009. :o)

And Sunday it was the 17 of May that is our national day. It is the reason why Rebecca is in her national costume in these pictures. It is a day, at least for us that is mostly for the kids. We always start early eating
breakfast with my family, then going to the city to watch the parade and going to some rides. Well only Rebecca does that. Later we eat some traditional food and go to the nearest primary school. There it was games, competitions, people from the neighborhood and of course food. I am looking forwards to having a brother ore sister for Rebecca who can join her.

Today ADECOP also posted som great news. They have recived four new referals from Colombia. Two in the age group 1 and two others in the age group 2-3 years. As always they do not tell when the families entered lista de espera.

I dag ADECOP også lagt ut som gode nyheter. De har fikk fire tildelinger fra Colombia. To i aldersgruppen 1 og to andre i aldersgruppen 2-3 år. Som alltid de ikke fortelle når familier kom inn på Lista de espera.

A new week with new possiblities. I hope for a lot of news this week, maybe there will come a new lista de espera? That would be wonderful.

An italian couple who entered lista de espera December 2005 in the age group 3-4 years have been told there is 16 couples before them waiting for region. This make me hope for a lot of movements in that group. In April they had come to May 2005 in this group. So there is not a lot of 2005 couples left in thet group!

Spain
A couple from August 2005 in the age group 4 years have been told from ADECOP(Spanish adoption intermediary) that there is only two couples before them waiting to be sent to region. Lista de espera is in July 2005 in that group, so it`s probably moving soon.

Denmark
They have been told there are three families in region. As there has been two refferals that means that it is three new families. So wonderful!! I hope two of them are the two remaining 2005 families. It will be interesting to see the new list from Denmark, it will come next week. :o) I am happy to see so much happening in Denmark.

France
Refferal to a family who entered lista de espera 28.11.2006 in the group 0-1. They changed to siblings 0-6 26.11.2008. Region Bogota February 2009. Two girls Jennie and Catherine, 6 and 3 years old. Congratulations!

I have been asked to translate everything into Norwegian, so I will start to post in both languages.

Jeg har blitt spurt om å oversette til norsk, jeg skriver ikke alt på nytt men bruker kun google translate. Dermed kommer det til å bli en del skrivefeil, men håper det blir lettere å forstå for de som ønsker norsk.

En ny uke med nye muligheter. Jeg håper på mange nyheter denne uka, kanskje det kommer en ny Lista de espera? Det ville være flott.

Et italiensk par som har kommet Lista de espera desember 2005 i aldersgruppen 3-4 år har blitt fortalt er det 16 par foran dem venter på region. Dette gjør meg håp for mye bevegelser i den gruppen. I april hadde de kommet til mai 2005 i denne gruppen. Så det er ikke mye av 2005 par igjen i gruppen!

Spania
Et par fra august 2005 i aldersgruppen 4 årene har blitt fortalt fra ADECOP (Spansk adopsjon byrå) at det er bare to par, før dem som venter på å bli sendt til regionen. Lista de espera er i juli 2005 i den gruppen, så det `s trolig flytte snart.

Danmark
De har blitt fortalt er det tre familier i regionen. Som det har vært to tildelinger som betyr at det er tre nye familier. Så flott! Jeg håper at to av dem er de to gjenværende 2005 familier. Det vil være interessant å se den nye listen fra Danmark, den kommer neste uke. : o) Jeg er glad for å se så mye som skjer i Danmark.

Frankrike
Tildeling til en familie som har kommet Lista de espera 28.11.2006 i gruppen 0-1. De endret til søsken 0-6 26.11.2008. Region Bogota februar 2009. To jenter Jennie og Catherine, 6 og 3 år. Gratulerer!

I make my own list with the information I have. This does not include Norway, except us. This is because we do not have complete lists, a few of us have made our one. But many do not want to share their information so I will respect that. Norway have about 300 applicants in Colombia ore more and the number is increasing because of the few refferals. The list I am on have about a 1/3 of the list. What I can tell you all is that very little happens in Norway and I do not understand why the list is not public. If you want to see the list last list it is here. Of course most of the regions and the refferals are not here, but only a small part

There has not been many news yesterday, I only managed to find one. Another 2005 family. I`m looking forwards to a new lista de espera and I hope we will not have to wait for a long time.

Region france

Region Cordoba to a couple who entered lista de espera: 16.11.2005 Age group 1-2. Congratulations!

Today Svein Edvin(my husband) and I are going to meet other people in the waiting process. We met them a year ago on a adoption preparatory course. It is going to be so nice meeting them all again. The couples are mostly adopting from colombia, but neither of us have recived refferals. I wonder how long we have to wait until we al can meet with children. I hope it will not take long, but I am sad to say that it probably will take a few years.

There has been another refferal to Denmark, AC Børnehjælp. I am sure the danish are really happy. There is only 39 couples waiting in colombia so to have a refferal only two days later than the other is really good. The refferal this time is to a couple who entered lista de espera 14.10.2005. They were sent to the region Bogota in April 2009. Age group I do not know.

An italian couple have changed from the age group 0-1 to siblings 0-6. They entered lista de espera November 2006. I hope they will have to wait no longer.

An amerikan couple has recived their refferal from a casa in Cali. A boy 6 and a girl 2 1/2. Background information;
Sept 2008 - Decision to adopt from colombia

Jan 2009 - Submit I800a
March 2009 - Receive I-797a
March 2009 - Dossier submitted to Colombia. They acepted minor medical problems.
They are not colombian, but just were very lucky to recive a refferal so quick.

On my search for news I stumbled across a Gotcha Day video and a blog. I found the blog really great. The family adopted four beautiful girls from colombia.

Group 1-2
A family from spain have been told that there is 90 families in front of them. They are from November 2006. I hope this is true, 90 families make me hope that lista de espera will move a lot in the next months.

France

Girl 16 months assagined a couple who entered lista de espera September 2005. Region Cali.

That only gives me more hope that soon we will have no more 2005 families. And I am really happy for the people getting their refferals who have waited so long. It also seems that a lot of the 2005 families are from france.

Denmark
Information from AC Børnehjælp, a couple have been referred a child. In the danish ICBF-chat they belived it was number 7 on their list. Number 7 entered lista de espera 06.04.2006 and are in region Còrdoba. They got the region in april this year, but I do not know with age group they are in ore if they are assagined siblings.

Spain
A couple has been assagined a 22 month old child from the region Valle. They entered lista de espera september 2005, got region Cordova november 2008 transferred to region Valle in desember 2008. They started the paperwork five years ago so I am very happy that they do not have to wait any longer for their colombian beauty.

Italy
A couple has been assagined two children from the region Santander. A boy Santiago 1 1/2 years and a girl Vanessa 4 years old. They entered lista de espera 3.11.2005 in the age group 0-1, but transferred to siblings 0-4.

It is nice to see two more couples from 2005 recive their refferals. I belive we soon will se the end of 2005, at least in the 0-1 and 1-2 age group. And I hope to see it finished in all age groups. 31.12.2008 there was 324 left waiting for a child from 2005. So far this year I have seen 25 refferals and unknown how many regions from this group. And I know I miss A LOT, many times I do not know when people entered lista de espera when they recive their refferals and mostly I just do not know about it. I will be dissapointed if the lista de espera do not move much next time.

This will be a new start for this blog, as I will start to write everything in english. A bit harder for me, but as it is the international language... I will warn you all, I do not write perfect english. I got a good suggestion from one of my readers. Please feel free to comment in norwegian if you want to.

Pleace comment, I would love to hear what you all think about this. I know I almost only have norwegian readers. I did a test a little while ago. But maybe it will change.

Fant en ny tildeling.

John og Augustine 7 og 5 år tildelt Peter og Dehlia fra spania.
De var først på lista de espera for et barn under fire år 31.12.2006, men byttet til to barn mellom 0-7 16.12.2008. Overflyttet til region 06.01.2009

Så var det en mindre 2006 sak også :o)

Litt nyheter fra rundt omkring i verden:

Norge:
Tre barn har kommet hjem i april. Ikke mye å skryte av når man vet at det er omtrent 300 norske søknader i colombia til enhver tid. Tallene bør snart øke, ellers ser man på en ekstrem ventetid. Mer positivt er det at ni familier har fått region denne måneden. Håper å se høyere tall snart, og det kommer vi nok til å gjøre med så mange norske søknader i colombia.

Frankrike
Tildeling av 9 mnd gammelt barn i region Bogota, aldersgruppe 0-1år. Lista de espera 27 oktober 2005

Italia og Spania
Et par godkjent for søsken 0-5år, lista de espera september 2005 har fått region Cundimarca. De stod tidligere godkjent for et barn 0-2. Et spansk pr godkjent for søsken 0-4 er også sendt til denne regionen. Samme søskenpar vil jeg tro. De sa ikke når de kom inn på lista de espera.

Rykter 2 år
Italiener godkjent i gruppe 2 år november 2005 har fått vite at det er 68 saker før dem. Lista de espera i denne gruppen har kommet til may 2005. Dermed har jeg stor tro på at vi kommer til å se bevegelse i denne gruppen til neste lista de espera. Dette er jo samme gruppe som vi er godkjente i. I hvert fall når man kommer til 2008 der 0-1, 1-2 og 2 kommer sammen i samme gruppe.

Litt forskjellig colombianytt fra rundt omkring.

Et italiensk par som kom inn på lista de espera oktober 2007 aldersgruppe 2-3 har fått tildelt et italiensk barn og står dermed ikke lengre på venteliste til colombia.

Tildeling frankrike
Tildeling av et søskenpar, gutt 3år 7mnd og jente 15 mnd til et par i region Monteiro. Står ikke når de kom inn på lista de espera.

Tildeling spanske forum
Gutt 2 år tildelt par fra lista de espera oktober 2005 aldersgruppe 1-2år. De fikk region Pasto mars 2009.

Til slutt vil jeg bare si meg enig i den adoptivsøkeren som skrev til adopsjonsforum at de bør være litt mer ydmyke når det gjelder rykter. De synes at vi ikke skal bry oss med rykter. Forstår at de mener det, men samtidig så er det ikke rart at vi spekulerer og bekymrer oss. Vanskelig å leve i det uvisse og ikke vite når man blir foreldre. Det er jo en kjempeviktig del av livet vårt. Føler det hadde vært kjekt å bli tatt litt mer på alvor, men de er sikkert like frustrerte som vi er.

ADECOP hadde en stor dag og kunne fortelle om 9 par i region og 9 par som kom inn på lista de espera. Det stod ingenting om alder eller hvor lenge de har ventet.

Spennende at adopsjonsforum nå søker tre søkerpar til madagaskar. De kan nok regne med en kort ventetid. Og adopsjonsforum søker på nye søkere til india som også kan forvente en kortere ventetid. Er veldig glad for at det utvides med nye samarbeidsland, og at det finnes nye land med kortere ventetid. Det er sinnsykt hvordan ventetidene i de fleste samarbeidsland har utviklet seg.

Rykter
En amerikansk familie i aldersgruppe 0-2(0-35mnd) har fått vite at det er 1309 familier før dem, de kom inn på lista de espera 3.3.2008 Dette vil i hvert fall si at de aller fleste søkerne er på disse aldersgruppene

Oppdatering Canada april 2009

Det har ikke vært noen tildelinger eller distrikt siden sist, noe jeg ikke helt forstår. Det finnes jo en sak fra 30.09.05 for 12-23 mnd. Og man har jo kommet til november 2005 i denne aldersgruppen på lista de espera. Det som har skjedd er da at enten så har ICBF overført saken til en annen aldersramme. Dette var det paret som hadde søkt om jente 0-23 mnd-ICBF forandret det til jente/gutt 12-23 mnd. Den andre muligheten er at Canada ikke har oversatt listen/oppdatert papirene. Litt merkelig er det i hvert fall, spendt å se hva som står på listen i mai.

To saker har også forsvunnet fra listen. En sak lista de espera 29.02.08 i aldersgruppe 0-2(0-35mnd) og en sak i aldersgruppe 0-2(0-35mnd) som ikke var godkjent enda.

Distrikt norge og annet snacks

Synes den gode uken virkelig har begynt, med fint vær og colombianytt :o)

Så har det endelig skjedd noe i Norge også! En på øbben har fått distrikt. Det blir ekstra spesielt! Gratulerer så masse. Det er ikke i vår aldersgruppe, men føles som ekstra fremgang. De har aldersramme 5 år og har fått distrikt Cali. Om man vil vite mer kan man sjekke hjemmesiden deres, der kommer det sikkert mer informasjon etterhvert. Gjett om jeg kommer til å sjekke den ofte. Link ligger på siden, men for enkelhets skyld så bare trykk her. Håper de ikke må vente lenge før de får tildeling!!

Noen flere link tips kan jeg gi med en gang. Fant flere amerikanske familier som er i colombia nå. Trykk her , her her og her. Og kos dere. Har lagt de til siden også. Har ikke fått lest i de selv enda, men colombiastoff er jo alltid kjekt!

Så kommer litt rykter igjen, og også nå er det i kategorien 0-1. Er det bare i den kategorien man får informasjon nå?
En spansk familie fra desember 2006 har fått vite at de har 258 familier før dem. Dette tror jeg gjerne på, passer fint sammen med mange av de andre ryktene, samtidig som noen rykter tydeligvis ikke stemmer. Det var et høyere tall enn det jeg ønsker, men ikke så ille.

Forandret litt på linkene, de på hentereise er nå for seg selv. Hvis noen savner den danske familien, så har de kommet hjem og er dermed på les om hentereiser.

Denne uken har jeg en god følelse, synes mye skjedde sist uke. Kanskje ikke i Norge, men det skjedde jo masse rundt om i verden. Og hver tildeling fører jo oss nærmere målet! Har tro for at det kan skje masse denne uken også. Lyst til at det skal skje masse nå i april og enda mer i mai. :o)

Blir veldig posetiv av det nydelige været vi har for tiden, håper dere andre har like fint vær der dere er. Og at dere koser dere masse i solen. I dag var Rebecca og jeg først hos helsesøster, så dro vi til min søster og tilbrakte resten av formiddagen på lekeplassen der. Den ligger veldig fint til og vi kunne kose oss i gresset mens ungene løp rundt og lekte og brukte energi. Rebecca var helt utslitt når hun kom hjem. En annen god nyhet er at helsesøster hadde fått nyss i at vi hadde fått barnehageplass, krysser fingrene for at det er der vi har lyst til å gå!! Jeg er nemlig ganske så kresen...

Om litt under to uker skal vi også treffes med de vi var på adopsjonsforberedende kurs med for et år siden. Gleder meg veldig, blir kjekt å snakke adopsjon. Nesten alle skal også adoptere fra colombia, de fleste har kommet litt lengre enn oss. Men vi er dessverre alle et godt stykke unna tildeling, hvis noen ikke blir veldig heldig. Noe som hadde vært fantastisk. Gleder meg, gleder meg, gleder meg :o)

En spansk familie har fått høre at det er 103 familier før dem. De er fra lista de espera mars 2006. Det høres ikke så ille ut. I hvert fall når man tenker at alle colombianske søkere er alltid prioritert først. Man har kommet til november 2005, så det blir noen og 20 saker pr mnd igjen. Dette ryktet passer godt sammen med 140 saker igjen før aug 2006.

Gutt fra Cundinamrca tildet par godkjent 31. aug. 05. De hadde først region Meta i sept. 08 men ble flyttet tilbage til Bogota i november 08 og så sendt til Cundinamarca d. 15. dec. 08.

Italia
Et par godkjent august 2006 holder på å bli matchet med to barn, mer opplysninger hadde de ikke.

Synes det skjer mye i frankrike for tiden, men de har jo tydeligvis også mange gamle saker. Håper å snart se slutten på 2005 saker på lista de espera!!
